Hello,
I have put together some background information on my education, experience and practice style that might be helpful to you...
As I worked as a massage therapist in Denver during the 1990's, I had remarkable success co-treating patients with local chiropractors. I learned to appreciate the power of uniting chiropractic and soft tissue therapy. My experiences in Colorado within the entire complimentary health care community served to form the foundation for my passion in the healing power of manual medicine.
It is my true belief that the body harnesses the incredible power to heal and maintain health when provided with unrestricted movement, adequate blood flow, uninhibited nervous conduction, proper nutrient supply, efficient waste removal and proper rest.
Having grown up in the west, I attended and graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado, earning my undergraduate degree; Bachelor of Science in Biology. I also graduated from the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy in Colorado Springs in 1995 with certifications in massage therapy and neuromuscular therapy. This led me to chiropractic school in 2001 – graduating cum laude from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland Oregon, as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
I have a continued passion for learning, because my personal and professional growth requires constantly challenging myself. I have always tried to bring my patients as wide a spectrum of knowledge as possible, paired with a focused specialty. I plan to begin my training as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician this year.
My personal mission as a health care professional is to serve my community by providing outstanding care to my patients; and to educate and influence people inside and outside my practice on the importance of healthy and natural lifestyle choices, not just to stave off disease, but also to enhance quality of life.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about your chiropractor. If you are interested in improving your health and well-being, I would be excited to meet you and tell you personally how I think we could team together to achieve your goals. Give the office a call to schedule a consultation & evaluation.
